First of all, great idea! I love almost ANY fantasy kind of picture, as long as it's not overdoing anything. This, is NOT overdoing anything! The background, the shield thrown to the side as another detail to look for, GREAT picture! However, there is TWO things I'm not too keen about. (Remember, I'm being picky.)

The dragon does not seem... right. Anatomy right, I guess it would be. The bone structure of ANY possible wing type would not be formed like that, if it were formed without any problems at birth. I'm assuming you didn't plan any birth defcts for this dragon at it's birth, so that's why it caught my eye. The end of the wing doesn't join togther in the normal place, it's everywhere. From the looks of it, you would have it go all along the body, if you'd drawn the whole dragon. Also, a tiny detail, the knight's legs are bent this-way-and-that, although that can EASILY be said to be from being bashed around, or being extreemly nervous, so I won't continue with that.

Something I thought was AMAZINGLY DETAILED AND HARD-WORKED ON, however, was, yes, the neck and head of the dragon. Simple to the eyes, but it is plain to see the amount of time that, at SOME point, you've thought about how a dragon would look like. The personalized horns, head shape, the curve of the neck, brilliant.

This all adds up to the reasons I've chosen those number of stars for each one.
